BeGreen, easy to say, not tiring to do, on the contrary, pleasant and fun above all there are interesting and well-studied projects like BeGreen. Sure, for respect the environment, raise awareness the people around us and adopt styles of virtuously green life it is necessary to make a move and the initiative I am about to talk about has taken this fact literally.
BeGreen: the project
Permanent routes of orienteering, self-managing and open to all, beyond age, sex, status and beyond any kind of imaginable discrimination. This is the spirit of BeGreen, a project in which it is possible to participate both individually and in a group, as a citizen, as a student, as a person who has the health of the planet is at heart.
In 2015, events were held both in Milan and in Monza and in 2016 Lodi was added to these two cities, if the Milanese "missed the train, for this year, the Monza and Lodi people still have time to participate. In truth, citizenship is not required to join BeGreen so everyone can write down that Sunday 2 October we are in Monza and on 16 October, also on Sunday, in Lodi.
"To do what?". To get going and make your contribution in improvement of the health conditions of the planet participating in theorienteeng organized in the city, each time with characteristics declined to urban and climatic conduction but always strictly to BeGreen.
BeGreen: to whom it is addressed
In addition to the routes, there is also the possibility for the citizens who are fond of this project organize workouts, rallies and competitions, while for schools the green idea is also expressed in organized educational outings and coordinated by Federal FISO instructors as well as in training activities for teachers of schools of all levels.
For companies more attentive to the environment, there is also the possibility of creating company training and team building activities, there is nothing to prevent this from doing this even to groups organized in another form, to public administrations, associations and clubs.
BeGreen for schools
Without offending those in the stalls there was a while ago, it cannot be denied that Begreen for schools has a soft spot, small citizens are one of its privileged targets and in their reserve outdoor appointments and playful activities and very attractive didactics.
Pupils of all ages may therefore find themselves passing one full day of sport in the countryside discovering the area, playing and having fun and at the same time learning what BeGreen means, even in the city, in everyday life, in their little big world of children. An example is the treasure hunt which, organized in orienteering style, can be proposed both “with pedals” and by foot, both only under 18, and involving friends and relatives.
After all, the important thing is to learn how to orient yourself to reach the checkpoints marked on the map by deciding your path and recognizing the objects to find. The player who reaches all points correctly wins, in the shortest possible time, but whoever wins, the next day, gives a move to adopt new habits more attentive to the environment he explored during the game.
BeGreen: events
At events, past and upcoming, each adult participant receives a game kit who can decide to share with a group of friends or relatives, or to keep for himself by participating as an individual. Once logged into the BeGreen Village, we set off, equipped with a kit and with a keen eye on the map to arrive as soon as possible in the "control" stages scattered along the route and to identify the object indicated in the photos of the "point description".
The points acquired are different each time, they can be 3 or 4, but if it gets late they lose 2: do your math knowing that you have to maximum 90 minutes to complete the course, possibly "tearing up" the opponents. In case of equal points, the one who took the least time comes, to find out their positioning and the prizes won, you can consult the BeGreen website.
BeGreen in Monza and Lodi
As already announced, BeGreen arrives in Monza and in Lodi, to participate in the first of these two events, in the capital of Brianza, let's hurry up because this is it Sunday (October 2nd). The meeting point, in the Village, is in Piazza San Paolo, a few steps from the Duomo, everything is open from 10am but departure is at 2.30pm. Non Monza people are also welcome, and the most competitive in BeGreen they will also be able to jostle with their more athletic colleagues by uploading the GPS track of their session to the permanent Monza route to view their performance and compare it with that of others.
Sponsored by Municipality of Monza, this event BeGreen gives away perfect prizes for those who want to keep moving in a sustainable way. The overall winner will have a city bike with hood, the second a voucher worth € 100 from Cicli Brianza and the third classified a cell phone arm band. Even those who do not arrive on the podium but are fast and green, will have rewards similarly appropriate and consistent with the project.
To get to know this project even better and participate in its events, find all the information and contacts on the official website of the projectBeGreen.
